• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. - Ensure that any climbing equipment (i.e. slides) has a 6 ft clearance around the structure to ensure safe exiting and entering of the equipment. *Resolved during the inspection. The Licensing Officer did not observe any other hazardous objects or products accessible to the children in care in both the inside and outside play spaces.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. - Some child records were missing doctor/medical clinic info and care card numbers. - A log for recording play space inspections, maintenance, repairs, etc. was needed. Other record keeping systems were reviewed by Licensing (i.e. attendance records, minor incident log, etc.) and they appeared satisfactory.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. - Ensure that a 6ft perimeter around climbing equipment, including at the bottom of slides, is maintained to allow for safe exiting and entering of the equipment by the children in care. - Tall storage shelf on the outside deck required anchoring to prevent tipping. - Barriers in place on either side of the outside storage shed required securing to prevent the children from having access to this area.
