A link to the incident reporting portal has been provided for the submission of the incident details. C4.1E - Reg. 57 - Upon review of child records some files were missing special instruction in writing from the parent of a potential medical event. Ensure this information is detailed to identify potential symptoms and staff actions to take.

C7.1L - Reg.17 - A storage closet was accessible in the cubby area that contained an open bucket of ice melt. This product is hazardous to children and must be kept inaccessible at all times. • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

Observation. The system in place to ensure overall facility cleanliness and maintenance appears to be ineffective. Licensing observed: - a door mat with curled edges that poses a tripping hazard - walls and other surfaces in bathrooms were visibly dirty. - bathroom counter laminate broken with plyboard exposed leaving a porous surface unable to be sanitized. - the bathroom counter's broken laminate has sharp edges that pose risk of injury. An emergency exit blocked with equipment leaving it inaccessible for emergency use. Concrete in the Group Child Care Under 36 Months outside play area is uneven posing a tripping hazard. Playground equipment contained standing water. Once this was brought to the licensee's attention it was corrected during inspection (CDI) Drinking water has not been tested for lead content. Licensee was unable to produce the results for the Radon Gas testing done in the facility.

  • C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical
