  Observation. Two substitute staff were missing documentation of immunization status, Criminal Record Check clearance, references, first aid certification, and responsible adult certifications. Employee records are required to ensure that individuals meet the minimum legislative requirements prior to working with children. Incomplete staffing records pose a risk to children's safety. Submit a plan describing how you will ensure ongoing compliance, along with evidence that employee records are complete by December 9, 2025.

  Observation. The main educator's staff record was found to be incomplete, missing evidence that the person has complied with the Province's immunization programs (i.e., immunization status). Employee records are required to ensure that individuals meet the minimum legislative requirements prior to working with children. Incomplete staffing records pose a risk to children's safety. Submit a plan describing how you will ensure ongoing compliance, along with evidence that employee records are complete by December 9, 2025.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed the employee plan with the Manager. Ensure that the ratio of employees to children is no less than permitted in Schedule E throughout the facility operations.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed the staff files and found some incomplete. Ensure that character reference checks for the staff are obtained prior the start date of employment.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed the children's attendance record and found some incomplete.

  Observation. Some child records in the school age program are missing photos of children and care card numbers.

  Observation. At this time children's belongings (coats, backpacks, lunches, etc.) are scattered on the floor of the facility as there are no cubbies or hooks or other suitable system for children to place/store their belongings.

  Observation. The facility licence and educator certificates are posted behind a door and one educator certificate is not posted. Please ensure this is resolved by posting in a prominent place.

  Observation. A November fire drill does not appear to have been completed as it is not recorded on the fire drill record sheet.

  Observation. An incident report is required for the unexpected facility closure which occurred. This is reportable as a service delivery problem.
