• C10.2 - Are children supervised, and are employee to children ratios maintained?Critical

  Observation. It was alleged that, due to insufficient supervision, a child was left outside unsupervised resulting in them walking home alone. Based on discussion with the manager and staff, and correspondence with the complainant, it has been determined that there was insufficient supervision during the transition from playing outside to returning inside, resulting in a child being left outside alone unsupervised. This allegation is substantiated. In response to this event the manager and staff developed a policy/procedure that ensures constant supervision at all times during all transitional periods. This was presented to the Licensing Officer who reviewed it during the inspection and found it appropriate.

• C1.1 - Does the licensee continually inform licensing of any significant changes to the structure or operation of the facility?Critical

  Observation. The Licensee did not provide notification to Licensing of a change of the facility's manager.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. A review of children's files indicated some files were missing the name and phone number of physician.
