  Observation. The name of the Manager is not displayed in a prominent place. The posting of the Manager's name is required. Submit by May 28, 2025, written confirmation and evidence that the name of the Manager is now displayed in a prominent place.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. The Licensee confirmed they did not keep a record of illnesses while children are being provided care. The Licensee is required to keep a record/log of any illnesses while children are in care. Submit by May 28, 2025, written confirmation and evidence that there are records of any illnesses that have occurred while care is being provided. Child records were reviewed. Several were missing the name and contact details of an emergency contact, and the name and contact details of a medical practitioner. Ensure child records are obtained prior to a child starting. Submit by May 28, 2025, confirmation and evidence that the missing information has been added to each child's file. Staff did not record the time and amount of medication given for one child. The Licensee must record the time and dosage given. Submit by May 28, 2025, confirmation that when medication is given to a child, staff record both the time medication was given and amount administered. Employee records were reviewed. One employee's reference checks were not available to be reviewed. Ensure all employee records are kept at the facility and available to be reviewed. Submit by May 28, 2025, confirmation and evidence that the missing records are now available at the facility.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The hot water was tested and found to be 58.2 degree Celsius. Water over 49 degrees Celsius poses a scald/burn risk to children. Submit by May 28, 2025, written confirmation and evidence that hot water accessible to children is no hotter than 49 degrees Celsius.
