    Observation. Upon review of a sampling of employee records, one was found to require COVID-19 vaccination status. This was resolved during the inspection, and no further action is required. All other employee records reviewed were complete. All records demonstrated that employees have adequate training and experience to meet care and supervision needs of children.

    Observation. Upon review of a sampling of child records for each program it was noted that one required a Start Date, three required immunization status (fully, partially or not) and one required a care plan to be developed. Upon review of Minor Incident Log, Outdoor Inspection Log, Fire Drill record and Emergency Preparedness Practice record, all were noted to be up-to-date and used regularly.

  • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

    Observation. Upon review of thermometer in one fridge it was noted that the temperature reads above the maximum 4 degrees Celsius allowable. Children's food that was stored in this fridge was moved to another fridge that was within the 0-4 C. range allowable. One outlet in the back play room required a cover, which was applied during inspection. No further action required in regards to the outlet.

    Observation. Licensing observed that two sandboxes (one in the Infant/Toddler outdoor play area and one on in the far 30 Month to School Age outdoor area) require covers to ensure they are safe for use.

    Observation. Upon review of a sampling of care plans in place over the past six months it was determined that further information is required to ensure the care plans are complete. Care plans must be developed in conjunction with the parents/guardians and any other supports the parents deem relevant. Care plans must be reviewed at least annually with parents/guardians and other supports, or when revised. Compliance with care plan requirements must be documented.
