Observation. Licensing has not yet received a copy of the lab results for the lead testing that the Licensee was required to perform during the application process. Identifying and resolving lead contamination promptly is essential to prevent long-term health problems and ensure a safe environment for children to develop and learn. Submit a copy of the water testing lab results completed by the Licensee by no later than January 16, 2025.

Observation. Licensing reviewed a sampling of employee records and found that first aid certification although current had not been validated by the Licensee when not signed by the instructor as per Child Care Licensing Regulation Schedule C. Validating employee first aid certificates is important to ensure they can handle emergencies and keep children safe. Submit by January 12, 2025, confirmation all first aid certificates for employees have been validated if not signed by the instructor and how the system has been revised to ensure compliance is maintained.

Observation. A sampling of child records was reviewed using the digital child care management app used by the Licensee. Some required information was found to be missing such as recording a child's immunization status, care card number, and a doctor's contact information or notation if the family do not currently have a doctor. Maintaining complete child records is essential for protecting health, ensuring effective emergency response, delivering consistent care, and maintaining clear communication. Submit by January 12, 2025 the corrective actions to ensure all child records are complete and revision to the system developed by the Licensee to maintain compliance.
