• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. Upon review of all employee records it was noted that two require evidence of 20 hours of training to demonstrate that they qualify as Responsible Adults as per Section 29 of the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR). One employee requires a Criminal Record Check from the Ministry of Public Safety and Emergency Services, this record did have an RCMP Criminal Record Check which showed no convictions but the Ministry Criminal Record Check is required for all employees as per Section 20 (1) of CCLR. Several employee records required statements of COVID-19 vaccination statuses as per Section 21 of CCLR in order to demonstrate the individuals' status of immunization. Notify Licensing when all items have been added to relevant files on or by May 13, 2025. Upon review of the Fire Drill records it was observed that one practice was not documented for one of the programs. Upon discussion with the Licensee it was verified that the practice was not conducted with that program for that month. As per Section 22 (2) (b) of CCLR , fire drills must be practiced monthly with all employees in all programs. Notify Licensing when the fire drill has been practiced in this program on or by May 13, 2025.
