Observation. Emergency plan practice was not recorded. Maintaining a record of emergency plan practices is essential, as it allows for accurate tracking of when they are conducted and provides documented evidence that they have been completed as required. Submit a compliance plan regarding how this issue has been corrected on or before September 2, 2025.

Observation. Multiple child records were missing the following information; immunization status, medical practitioner information, and emergency contacts. It is a requirement that all child records contain the required information. Submit a compliance plan regarding how this issue has been corrected on or before September 2, 2025. The licensee is not currently keeping a consistent log of minor accidents, illness and unexpected events. This documentation is an important and required record for both the licensee to have on file and to have available for Licensing to review as needed.

Observation. The fence surrounding the outdoor play space is not in good repair, with some boards coming loose. As a temporary measure, the Licensee has fastened certain boards with screws, however several screws protrude several centimeters, creating a safety hazard. The protruding screws and unstable boards increase risk of injury to children and may allow contact with the neighboring dog. Submit a compliance plan regarding how to issue has been corrected on or before August 29, 2025. The stairs to the upper deck located in the outdoor play space are currently accessible to children. To avoid injury, it is important for children's safety to ensure that stairs, especially those that are tall and steep, are inaccessible to children. Submit a compliance plan on or before August 29, 2025.
