    Observation. Licensing observed the toilet seat in the children's bathroom showing signs of wear.

    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. Licensing observed and discussed the following with the Manager: - Art Room: Laundry detergent placed on top of the laundry machine is accessible to the children. -Washer and dryer front load machines were not locked. - Outdoor play space: landscape fabric under the woodchips are showing posing tripping hazard. The play structure has a slide and saucer swing with no sufficient clearance area.

    Corrective action. Ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are in care.

    Observation. Some outlets located in the nap room are not covered. Some of the outlets are located right next to a child's nap mat.

    Corrective action. Ensure electrical outlets accessible to the children are covered to mitigate the risk to children.

    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. Licensing observed the following: ·Adult scissors in the drawer which is accessible to the children ·Adult knives stored in the dish drying rack. The manager stated the dishes were just done after the children ate snack. [CORRECTED DURING THE INSPECTION] ·In the nap room there are floating cabinets secured to the wall. Some of these cabinets contain heavy items inside. There are playpens and mats located underneath which children use during naptime. In the event of an earthquake, the items could fall out of the cupboards and onto the children.

    Corrective action. Ensure a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times.

    Corrective action. Ensure the child’s file is updated with the most relevant information regarding allergies.
