  Observation. Fire and emergency drill records were upstairs and were not retrieved when requested

  Corrective action. The manager will keep fire and emergency drill records accessible in the community care facility

• STAFFING

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as (a) an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry. (Educator or assistant certificate validation)

  Observation. 1 Staff did not have their certificate verified by the early childhood educator registry.

  Corrective action. Licensee said that she will have the Licence verified.

• RECORDS AND REPORTING

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.

  Observation. Upon review of the children's records, 1 file did not contain a medical insurance number.

  Corrective action. Please ensure children's files are complete.

  Observation. Upon inspection, the fire drill records were not recorded for 2 months.

  Observation. Upon review of the attendance records, 4 children did not have departure times recorded over 3 months.

  Corrective action. Please ensure the arrival and departure times are recorded.
