  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. Licensing observed the following: -Nuts and bolts in the outdoor play area were protruding from the fencing this could cause a potential hazard -Bibs were placed close together. This can potentially cause cross-contamination -The lock securing the washer door was broken

  A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.

  Observation. During the inspection the following was observed: -A basket of diaper creams was located on the counter next to the sink. This is accessible to children in care. Corrected during inspection -Lysol wipes under the sink. This was accessible to children. Corrected during inspection -Unwound cord in the nap room. This could cause a potential hazard -One electrical outlet was missing a cover. This was located at the children's level. -Staff bag located on the floor. This could contain items that may pose a potential choking hazard. Corrected during inspection

  A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (d) written policies and procedures that are intended to guide employees in the care and supervision of children. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing observed the policies and procedures were not on site.

  Corrective action. The Manager arrived on site and brought the policies and procedures.
