A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. Fridge temperature is at 6c.
Corrective action. Manager will ensure the fridge temperature is between 0 - 4c.
11010 - CCLR s.13(1) - EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation. Licensing observed that the outdoor shed has 2 broken panels with exposed screws and the ramp to the shed is rotting.
Corrective action. Staff said that the Manager will follow up with the Church to ensure repairs are completed.
11020 - CCLR s.13(2) - POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.
Observation. Emergency supplies are stored in a builidng separate from the child care. The area supplies are stored is is blocked by a shelf, making it difficult to access the supplies during an emergnecy an emergency.
Corrective action. Manager will ensure that emergency supplies are easily accessible to staff during an emergency
13020 - CCLR s.22(1)(b) - POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment].
Observation. Current Fire drill records were unavaiable during inspection. Staff said fire drills were conducted but were not recorded for April and May
Corrective action. Manager will ensure current records are avaiable and monthly fire drills are recorded.

A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (c) the resources to be made available to the child requiring extra support by the licensee, including (ii) any modification to the program of activities necessary to enable the child to participate in or benefit from the program.
