A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment].

Observation. Fire drill record was observed. Fire drill was not practiced for the month of July. Licensee said fire drill was not practiced in July.

Corrective action. Licensee said she will ensure fire drill is practiced once a month and record it down.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (b) date of enrolment in the community care facility.

Observation. Upon review 4 children's files, 2 children were missing starting date.

Corrective action. Licensee said she will indicate those children's starting date in their file.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

Observation. Upon reviewing 4 children's files, two children were missing emergency contact.

Corrective action. Licensee said she will obtain emergency contact from the parents.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (i) a photograph or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency.

Observation. Upon reviewing children's files, no photos available for each child.

Corrective action. Licensee said she will obtain photos from parents.

The licensee must (a) develop the care plan in consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.

Observation. Care plan not developed in consultation with the parent or any person requested by the parent.

Corrective action. The Licensee said she will create a care plan with the parent.

In respect of a record referred to in this Division, a licensee must (a) keep in a single place at the community care facility the records referred to in sections 56 to 58.

Observation. Upon a discussion with the Licensee, 6 children are enrolled in the program. Licensee was not able to provide files for 2 children. Licensee said she had files for those children but could not locate in the facility.

Corrective action. Licensee said she will ensure to have all children's files filed in the same binder.
