    Observation. The following were observed: - Small knife stored in the top drawer without lock and is accessible by children - Staff medication and Polysporin were placed on top of shelve that is accessible by children

    Corrective action. [CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION] Manager said he will ensure staff medication are stored out of reach from children.

    A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

    Observation. buckets stored by the fence at the end of of the playground had standing water and debris inside.

    Corrective action. Manager said he will remove the buckets.

    Observation. LO observed and discussed the following with the Manager: - Outdoor Play Area: gaps between railings measured 4 inches posing entrapment hazard - Wooden Fence: several loose panels with wood rot on the bottom with exposed rusty nails sticking out

    Observation. During the inspection Licensing observed two picnic benches in the outdoor play area were placed close to the fencing. Below the fencing a sharp drop off was observed.

    A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

    Observation. During the inspection licensing observed that a couch had a large rip in it and the mattress underneath was exposed.

    Corrective action. Please ensure the facility furniture is in good repair.

    Observation. Licensing observed the following: -A lock on a lower cupboard in the kitchen was broken. Inside the cupboard were two bottles of chemicals. One bottle read, "keep out of the reach of children. These were removed during the inspection. -Several bottles of sunscreen and hand sanitizer were located at the children's level. These were removed during the inspection

    Corrective action. Please ensure children do not have access to any objects or substances that are hazardous to their health and safety.

    Observation. Licensing observed the following in the outdoor area: -a mat that was placed at the bottom of the stairs had folds in it that could cause a tripping hazard. This was removed during the inspection. -the eavestrough was sharp to the touch
