A licensee must display in a prominent place in the community care facility both the licence, including any terms or conditions of the licence, and the name of the manager. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing observed that the managers name was not posted

Corrective action. Licensee put up the name and contact of the manager during inspection

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.

Observation. Licensing reviewed 5 children's files of which 1 was missing the MSP number

Corrective action. Licensee stated she will connect with the families to ensure all files are up to date

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

Observation. Licensing reviewed 5 children's files of which 3 were missing the name and number of an emergency contact

Corrective action. licensee stated she will connect with the families to ensure all files are up to date.

A licensee must have in writing from a parent, and maintain at the community care facility, consent (a) to call a medical practitioner or ambulance in case of accident or illness if the parent cannot immediately be reached.

Observation. Licensing reviewed 5 children files of which 1 was missing consent to call medical in case of emergency

Corrective action. Licensee stated she will connect with families to ensure files are complete

A licensee must establish a program to instruct children in, and to practise the rules of, health and hygiene. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): the facility is using cloths to dry hand the are not single use

Corrective action. the staff have placed paper towels in the bathroom, fixed at time of inspectionsleep blankets store so that they touch,seperated at time of inspection no further action is required.

Observation. fire extinguisher was not serviced by the indicated date,

Corrective action. staff stated they will have it serviced in the next two weeks
