It appears that two different registration questionnaires are in use, the most recent is missing a place to record all required information. Children's files must be updated to include all information required in Section 57. Some attendance records are missing times of arrival or departure. The times of arrival, departure or whether a child is absent must be indicated on the attendance record. A method of recording play space inspections exists, however inspections haven't been recorded since November. Inform Licensing what method of sanitizing will be used. A bottle labelled 'keep out of reach of children' was found to be under the classroom sink. It was behind closed doors and a step stool, however the doors were not locked. The bottle was relocated during the inspection. This item has been corrected.

  • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

Observation. Hot water measured 52.8C in the children's washroom today. The thermometer in the utility room attached to the hot water pipe displayed 35 C There appears to be a discrepancy between the temperature of the thermometer that is attached to the outflow pipe and the water that comes out of the tap. Upon review of the location of the thermometer, it appears that the sensor is soldered in place on the outside of the hot water pipe. This would measure the level of the temperature of the outside of the hot water pipe.

One staff's file had an immunization declaration document as "incomplete" but not what immunizations were incomplete. One staff's file was missing a work history and references.
