  Observation. Upon review of records it is observed that the attendance record has not been consistently kept. Children must be signed in upon arrival and signed out upon leaving in order to ensure there is an accurate record of how many children are on site, if there is an emergency and emergency services is trying to identify how many children are present, this record is integral to ensuring accuracy. Notify Licensing of the process implemented to ensure arrival and departure times are accurately documented by June 5, 2026.

• C1.1 - Does the licensee continually inform licensing of any significant changes to the structure or operation of the facility?Critical

  Observation. It was observed that the upstairs floor plan has changed from what was submitted in the application. An updated floor plan is required in order to demonstrate the layout in case of an emergency. Submit an updated floor plan on or by July 31, 2025.

  Observation. Upon review of child records it was noted that one child has an allergy or condition listed on the registration form but no care plan was in place. A care plan is required in order to ensure that the diagnosis, possible symptoms and actions to be taken are adequately documented and include any input from the parents and any supports they deem appropriate. Notify Licensing of the development of the required care plan on or by July 31, 2025.

  Observation. Upon review of a sampling of child records it was noted that a medical practitioner name and number was not documented on one record.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. Upon review of staffing records it was noted that one requires a Criminal Record Check through the Ministry, and also evidence of training as a Responsible Adult or higher qualification.
