  Observation. Date of enrollment has not been recorded for children attending Group - School Age program.

  Observation. Child photos must be accessible at all times in case of emergency. When taking children off site, employees must still have access. Employees of School Age program do not currently have photos accessible if away from the facility. One child in care of the School Age program has a care plan in place. This documentation must be accessible to employees of the School Age program at all times, including when away from the facility.

  Observation. Hazardous products located under kitchen sink and nap room sink pose a risk to children in care.

  Observation. Employees in all three programs offered must be knowledgeable of and practice implementing the emergency plan at least once each year. Documentation of this must be kept and be accessible upon inspection. At time of inspection, one employee did not have full knowledge of the plan. Employees of the School Age program have not consistently practiced implementing monthly fire drills. Please ensure a plan for this is implemented and a record is kept. One employee present at time of inspection has a criminal record check from another organization on file. A valid criminal record check must be either shared with current organization or a new one requested.

  Observation. LO Vermeulen reviewed staffing records. One permanent staff does not have a Ministry of Justice criminal record check as required. Information was provided to the licensee to ensure the appropriate check is completed. Other required documentation could not be located at time of inspection. One substitute staff file requires evidence of reference checks, statement of immunization status and a criminal record clearance letter. Please provide Licensing with a plan to ensure any future staff records are complete prior to employment.
