    Observation. Staff records were reviewed. Some records do not include immunization status. The Child Care Licensing Regulation requires that a person not be employed unless there is a statement of immunization status on file. In the event of an outbreak, this information would need to be reviewed. Licensing to receive a plan for compliance no later than September 23, 2025.

    Observation. Staff records do not all contain evidence of references and/or a valid criminal record clearance letter. These items are kept offsite with human resources. The Child Care Licensing Regulation requires that all records referred to in section 19(1) be kept at the facility for review. These records are required to demonstrate each staff person's suitability for work at the facility. Licensing to receive a plan for compliance no later than September 23, 2025.

    Observation. Employee records located on site were reviewed. Criminal records clearance letters, evidence of reference checks, and immunization status was not located within the employee records kept on site during inspection. This information is being kept off site at the present time. CCLR Section 59(a) requires that for each employee, all records required under section 19(1) be kept at the facility. Discussions around possible acceptable solutions were discussed with the Director of Community Services during the inspection.

    Observation. Daily attendance records were not complete at time of inspection. Both times of arrival and departure have not been consistently recorded for all children in attendance each day. THIS CONTRAVENTION WAS IDENTIFIED DURING PREVIOUS INSPECTION. It was identified during inspection that a reportable incident had occurred. Licensing must be notified via the online reporting portal in accordance with section 55 of the Child Care Licensing Regulation.
