Observation. The facilities washing machine rubber gasket is unclean. An unclean washing machine rubber gasket causes a build up of mold and mildew which poses a risk that children may be exposed to contaminated laundry items. Submit to licensing by June 19, 2026, a plan that outlines how the risk to children will be mitigated. An area rug in the Group Child Care (under 36 months) room ripped and unclean. The rug poses a tripping hazard to children. Submit to licensing by June 19, 2026, evidence the risk to children has been mitigated. Some of the sleep mats in the Group Child Care (30 months to school age) room are ripped exposing the inner foam. Ripped sleep mats with the inner foam exposed are difficult to properly clean and dirt, moisture, bacteria and bodily fluids can become trapped inside. Submit to licensing by June 19, evidence the risk to children has been mitigated. A plastic snow shovel is broken and exposing sharp plastic edges. The broken shovel's sharp plastic edges cause a potential risk of children cutting themselves. This was resolved during the inspection. Expired milk is observed in the Group Child Care (30 months to school age) refrigerator. Expired milk may contain harmful bacteria that can cause illness in children. Submit to licensing, by June 19, 2026, a plan that outlines how staff will ensure that out of date food or drink will be disposed of. The wall located in the Group Child Care (under 36 months) classroom is in poor repair. There are gouges in the wall that are causing the paint to peel off the wall. Peeling paint can increase the risk of ingestion of paint chips, exposure to dust and contaminants, choking hazards and potential health effects. Submit to licensing by June 19, 2026, evidence the wall has been repaired.

Observation. There is expired medications located in the Group Child care (30 months to school age) classroom and the Group Child Care (Under 36 month) classroom. Expired medication causes a risk that children may not receive effective treatment when the medication is needed, potentially leading to a medical emergency. Submit to licensing by June 19, 2026, a plan that outlines how staff will ensure all medications are within date.

Protective surfacing depths less then the depth guidelines of the Director Of Licensing Standard Of Practice -Safe Play Space pose an increased risk to children. Submit to licensing by June 30, 2025, evidence the protective surfacing material has been replenished and the depth of the wood chips meets the guideline as outlined in the Director of Licensing Standard Of Practice Safe Play Space.
