• C1.1 - Does the licensee continually inform licensing of any significant changes to the structure or operation of the facility?Critical

  Observation. The Licensing Officer observed that the manager's name was not displayed. Ensure to display the name of the manager in a prominent place.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. One of the family members' Criminal Record Check expired in 2016 and there is no current Criminal Record Check clearance that was received. Ensure that persons over the age of 12 are not ordinarily present unless the person is of good character and a criminal record check has been obtained.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. Upon review of children's records, the licensing officer observed that some of the photographs need to be updated. Ensure to keep a current photo or digital image of each child and other information that can be used readily to identify the child in an emergency.

  Observation. The second play room referred to as the "green room" has not been set up or safeguarded for child care use during most of the pandemic. Please submit notification to Licensing Direct regarding this change or inform in writing if it returns to routine, daily use and systems in place for self-monitoring.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. Two child records are missing the name and telephone number of a medical practitioner.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. - The toilet seat is scratched and stained. - A rebounder/trampoline is accessible to children. Some information was provided to request a written safety plan or written plan if it will no longer be used. - There is standing water in various low sections of a tarp used to cover the sandbox. This was identified after the daily play space inspection had been completed. Once this was brought to the licensees attention it was corrected during inspection (CDI).
