    Observation. During a review of the facility records, a reportable incident as per Schedule H of the Child Care Licensing Regulation was not reported to Licensing. Attendance records were found to be incomplete. Ensure that the daily attendance record reflect the time of arrival and departure of each child. Some of the log of play space inspections, maintenance and repairs were incomplete.

  • C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical

    Observation. At the time of inspection, there was no evidence of the fire drill conducted in January 2024. Ensure that the fire drill system is implemented at least once each month.

    Observation. The licensees criminal record check expired on October 7, 2021 and her spouses expired on November 3, 2021. When this was brought to the licensees attention, she immediately submitted on-line consent forms. The processing timeline for these records is unknown. The licensee states that the criminal record results for two additional adult persons are no longer required as they are no longer living in or ordinarily present in the home.

    Observation. - A bottom drawer in the kitchen contains various power cords/electrical cables. - Scissors are located in the kitchen cutlery drawer- CDI - Dry dog food is being kept in an accessible container on the dining room floor.
