    Observation. - The evacuation supply kit contains expired food and water. To adequately prepare for and respond to any emergency, ensure that the supplies are safe, effective, and readily available. *Correct by: January 12, 2026.* Monthly fire drills are practiced and the record is displayed in the facility. The annual large scale evacuation practice that occurred in March 2025 is recorded. A yearly fire inspection was completed in 2025. The Licensee confirmed that no updates or revisions to the required polices and procedures have occurred since the last routine inspection. These policies and procedures are accepted by Licensing.

  • C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

    Observation. - A child's registration and emergency information record is missing the contact information for a doctor/medical clinic, a care card number, and a local emergency contact other than the parents. To ensure that the Licensee has immediate access to the children's personal information in the event of an emergency situation or evacuation, this information must be complete and up to date. *Correct by: January 8, 2026.* Other records such as the daily attendance, minor incident log, and outside play space inspection log are complete and up to date.

  • C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

    Observation. - The criminal record check results for a Licensee's family member, who is over the age of 12 years and who has returned to living on the premises, has expired and requires renewal. Anyone who is living on the premises of licensed community care facility where a Family Child Care program is operated must have a valid criminal record check from the Criminal Records Review Program. *Correct by: January 8, 2026.* The Licensee's first aid certificate and criminal record check are valid and up to date.

    Observation. - The Licensing Officer reviewed the current children's records. Some information such as emergency contacts other than the parents and a medical number were incomplete. Other record keeping systems, such as the daily attendance records, play space inspection log, and the system for recording minor incidents were reviewed by the Licensing Officer and they appeared satisfactory.

  • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

    Observation. - The Licensing Officer observed small beads used for art in a drawer that was accessible to the toddlers and preschool age children in care. *Resolved during the inspection. - The Licensing Officer observed expired supplies in the first aid kit.
