  Observation. Licensing observed 2 children to be missing an emergency contact that is not the parent. Facility has transitioned into an electronic system for children's records, which can sometimes be missing information that is available in the main files at the office. Licensing recommends transferring all required information from the main files at the head office, to the files accessed by Educators at the facility in order to provide consistency.

  Observation. A log is available, however not kept up to date.

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. Licensing observed that two out of three toilet paper holders are broken in the children's bathroom.

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. *A carpet in the main activity room is frayed on the corner and rolling up creating tripping hazard.

  Observation. *CCFL observed loose and accessible cords from the light behind the blue couch in the main room, the star light and hepa filter in the nap room. *The sleep mats are stored in slots, however the bedding was seen to be touching on the outside edges. *A coffee maker and a kettle were both observed to be too close to the counter's edge which could potentially cause burns should a child reach up and pull either item off.

  Observation. *The currently listed manager is no longer responsibility for the day to day activities of the facility; the acting manager has been on site for 10 months.

  Observation. *2 spray bottles containing cleaning materials were unlabelled. *An accessible wall lamp cord was observed to be loose and unsecured. This poses an entanglement hazard.
