    Observation. Originally found out of compliance on November 15, 2023. Licensing observed that a large pile of debris, branches, pieces of lumber and misc. items still remains in the outdoor play space. Licensee stated during the inspection that they were having a large truck come this weekend and remove the items from the back yard.

    Observation. Licensing Officer observed the following: -clutter in the kitchen area where the children have access during meal time routines -items in the area where children are meant to rest as this poses a hazard if the children were to access the items Licensee is currently using a variety of disinfectant cleaners. The licensee was reminded and encouraged to use the 2 step method of cleaning and sanitizing policy according to VCH requirements. During today's visit, LO observed that the issue of non-compliance remains outstanding.

Licensing observed the following: - a lot of clutter in the kitchen area where children have access during meal time routines. - a lot of items in the areas where the children are meant to rest, this posed a hazard if children were to access the items. Licensee is currently using a variety of disinfectant cleaners. The Licensee was reminded and encouraged to use the 2 step method of cleaning and sanitizing policy according to VCH requirements.

    Observation. Licensing observed the sliding panel door leading to the kitchen is broken and not sturdy, which poses a risk of injury to a child.

Licensing observed that the water table that is no longer in use was filled with dirty water posing a health and safety risk. Licensing also observed a large pile of debris in the back yard, this contained branches, pieces of fencing amongst other items, which is considered safety hazard.

    Observation. It appears the Licensee is using daily individual clothes for children to dry their hands. One time use clothes or paper towels are to be used. It appeared the Licensee and children did not wash their hands after diaper changing routine.

    Observation. Licensee has made up a bottle of bleach and water. As explained to the Licensee the surfaces are to be first cleaned with soap and water then sanitized with bleach and water. It appears the licensee has clutter in the kitchen area where children access their meal time routines as well as participate in activities and enter and exit the facility.

    Observation. It appears that shelving is full of many items that can easily fall if there was an earthquake or if hit or bumped It appears a cushion is being used for children to be used for children to jump and sit on that is not easy to clean and the seams are broken
