    The entire outdoor play area is enclosed and constructed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and ensures that children are free of harm. [CCLR Sec. 16(3)(a)(b)]

    Observation. Licensing observed various materials including a treadmill, an adult bike, a ladder, loose rusty metal, bags of recycling, and other various items stored in the outdoor play space. A discussion was had around the removal of these items as they are hazardous, pose a risk of injury, and are taking up the outdoor play space.

    Observation. Licensing observed three children missing personal health numbers on file. Licensing observed one child missing a photograph on file.

    At all times children have immediate access to an employee who holds a valid first aid and CPR certificate, is knowledgeable respecting each child's medical condition, if any, and is capable of communicating with emergency personnel. [CCLR Sec. 23(1)]

    Observation. The newest child enrolled does not have an Immunization record on file. The caregiver husband has photos of the children on phone but not printed for emergency cards. As discussed if the husband is not on site the caregiver needs the photo for the emergency cards.
