  Observation. Licensing observed red paint peeling from the side of a wooden train structure in the outdoor space. This item is no longer in good repair. Small pieces can also be hazardous if ingested by children.

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. Licensing observed a broken lock on the children's washroom gate. A small piece of the handle had become loose and poses a hazard for young children. This item is also no longer in good repair. Staff informed that a work order has been put in for it to be replaced.

  Observation. Licensing observed a posted medical care plan missing required information.

  Observation. Licensing observed missing information from children's records including an emergency contact and practitioner information.

  Observation. *CCFL observed gardening tools accessible to children stacked in the corner of the yard. *Long bamboo poles, planters and metal stakes were observed to be stacked up beside the shed. *2 compost bags have blown apart in the play yard creating a debris patch.

  A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

  Observation. *CCFL observed a full length mirror in the main activity area that is not tempered glass. *A fridge thermometer was not observed.

  There is current log of minor incidents, illnesses and unexpected events, that did not require medical attention and were not reportable incidents described in Schedule H. [CCLR Sec. 56 (1)(f)]

  Observation. *CCFL observed a logbook however there have been no entries since March of 2021.

  Observation. *CCFL observed several children's files contained only the parents as emergency contacts.
