    Observation. A log is available, however, not recorded daily.

    Observation. Licensing observed one criminal record check to be expired for staff. An application has been submitted, and waiting to be processed.

    Implementation of the fire drill system is practiced at least once each month, and implementation of the emergency plan is practiced at least once each year. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)(c)]

    Observation. Last fire drill recorded in September 2024. Staff inform that one was practiced in October, however not recorded. November drill was not completed, with plans to implement one this week. The emergency drill was practiced in June 2024.

    Observation. *The container for soiled diapers does not have a lid.

    A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

    Observation. *CCFL observed the sleeping mats were stored in individual slots, however the sheets were touching on the outer edge which is not hygienic. *A build up of art materials was observed on the atelier kitchen sink which poses the risk of a tipping hazard.

    Observation. *A hose attached to the length of the fence by zip ties has a created a possible entanglement hazard where it connects through the roof of the children's playhouse. *CCFL observed a loose and unsecured blind chain in the children's nap/gross motor room. This poses an entanglement hazard.
