Observation. Parents are not informed of the daily snacks served to their child. A discussion was held regarding various ways to inform parents about the snacks served each day.

The entire outdoor play area is enclosed and constructed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and ensures that children are free of harm. [CCLR Sec. 16(3)(a)(b)]
Observation. Licensing observed that one sandbox enclosure plank had started to rot and splinter. Licensing observed a low bench located against the fence beside a planter. On the planter side the bench support was sagging and wobbly.

The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction. They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]
Observation. LO observed that several pieces of equipment made of foam with a plastic covering are used as dividers between the children's sleeping mats. The plastic covering on these pieces of equipment are wearing and on a couple of them the plastic is torn off and showing the foam filling.
