  Observation. Licensing observed that multiple children’s records were missing an emergency contact. Discussion occurred with the Manager regarding the CCLR requirement that an emergency contact is “a person who is to be contacted in place of a parent if a parent cannot be reached,” as outlined in section 57(2).

  Observation. Licensing observed several children missing information including medical insurance information, emergency contact information, and medical practitioner information.

  The licensee keeps current records of each employee as required under Sec. 19(1). [CCLR Sec.56(b)]

  Observation. Licensing observed a staffing list to be incomplete noting the required documents for each staff. A copy of the staff files could not be located, as they are kept at another office.

  At all times children have immediate access to an employee who holds a valid first aid and CPR certificate, is knowledgeable respecting each child's medical condition, if any, and is capable of communicating with emergency personnel. [CCLR Sec. 23(1)]

  Observation. One staff member had an expired First Aid certificate today. The staff is registered to renew first aid Feb 13/22.
