  A record for each child containing the name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(a)]

  Observation. Notes from previous inspection: LO did not observe immunization status for one child in care. This issue remains out of compliance. During today's visit Licensee stated that she has not yet obtained immunization status for the child.

  The licensee has not obtained a criminal record check for all persons ordinarily present on the premises. [CCLR Sec. (20)(1)]

  Observation. Notes from previous inspection: During today's visit LO observed that the Licensee has not renewed her CRC and it has now been over 2 years since it expired. A discussion regarding the urgency of this issue took place and Licensee stated that she planned to get it done by the end of the month. This issue remains out of compliance. During today's visit Licensee stated that she has an appointment pending for next week in order to obtain an ID card, which is needed prior to applying for a criminal record check through the CRRP.

  Children do not have immediate access to an employee who holds a valid first aid and CPR certificate described in the regulations. [CCLR Sec. 23(1)(a)]

  Observation. Notes from previous inspection: LO observed that the Licensee's first aid certificate has expired. This issue remains out of compliance. During today's visit Licensee stated that she has registered for an upcoming First Aid course.

A discussion regarding the urgency of this issue took place and Licensee stated that she planned to get it done by the end of the month.

  Observation. Comments from routine inspection October 5, 2021: The outdoor play area is quite large and has a variety of equipment. But, there is a an area under the stairs that has items that could be hazardous and are not safe for children. During today's visit LO observed that the area under the stairs has not been cleared out. This issue remains outstanding. Licensee stated that she had not received her last inspection report and therefore was unaware of the infraction.

  Observation. The outdoor play area is quite large and has a variety of equipment. But, there is a an area under the stairs that has items that could be hazardous and are not safe for children.
