  Observation. LO observed a shade canopy placed in the outdoor play area that was not bolted down or secured in any way. LO observed that the canopy wobbled and was very unsteady when a child rode a scooter past one of the poles.

  A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

  Observation. LO observed stored items cluttering one corner of the main activity space: adult-sized wooden chairs, a number of plastic storage bins and stacked boxes containing program supplies, and food items. These items will reduce the useable space in the program and could pose a hazard if climbed on.

  Observation. LO observed a number of items kept in front of the program's rear exit door, including: a foldable table, piles of stacked books, plastic storage bins, and children's lunch bags.

  Observation. LO did not observe proof of verification on file for one staff.
