  Observation. Licensing was unable to locate a record that accounts for the outdoor maintenance check. When asking, the staff member informed that this occurs daily.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed the staff list. One staff's CRC had expired in Sept 2024.

  Implementation of the fire drill system is practiced at least once each month, and implementation of the emergency plan is practiced at least once each year. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)(c)]

  Observation. The monthly fire drill is conducted and documented as required. Licensing was unable to locate a record for the annual Emergency Drill.

  Observation. LO noted that fire drills were not monthly practiced/ Manager stated that an earthquake drill was practiced in May 2022.

  Medications that staff have agreed to administer are readily accessible to staff and are administered in the correct dosage at the correct times. [CCLR Sec. 53(1)]

  Observation. Licensing observed epi-pen medication for a child that had recently expired, although the care plan had been updated. As discussed, the child cannot be in attendance at the facility without current medication that is not expired.
