  Observation. Licensing observed that one educator present did not have an up to date criminal record check on file. The manager stated that an application to renew CRC was submitted. All other records were in compliance.

  Observation. Licensing observed an expired Asthma inhaler.

  Observation. Licensing observed that the food in the emergency supplies is expired and there is no water available in case of emergencies.

  Observation. Licensing observed that there was no emergency drill logged for the past 12 months.

  A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

  Observation. Licensing officer observed a TV on a desk accessible to children that were not anchored. This poses a possible tipping hazard.

  Care plans are not developed in consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent. [CCLR Sec. 58(2)(a)]

  Observation. One child registered at the facility does not have a care plan for medication required for asthma, although the medication was on site with a valid expiry date.
