  • PHYSICAL, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHING / Play Area, Materials and EquipmentNon-critical

  • RECORDS AND REPORTING / Records For Each ChildNon-critical

Observation. LO noted two children did not had a care card ad immunization status on file. LO requested the licensee to add the starting date for each child on the paper files. The license is storing records electronically, however were on her personal phone which make it not ideal for licensing to review records. The starting date will be reviewed at the next follow-up inspection. If wish to store records electronically ensure records are stored in electronic folders that can be made available for licensing review at the time of the inspection. Electronic records must be accessible to licensing therefore a computer-laptop is recommended and not a personal phone. Licensing must independently be able to access records. Having the licensee-primary care giver showing records from her personal phone to licensing is increasing the risk on lacking supervision of children in care. LO recommends that all records be kept on paper files to ensure are available for review when needed.

The licensee was made aware at the time of this inspection and at the last routine inspection done by another licensing officer, that a CRC must be obtained for every person over the age of 12 that are ordinarily present on the premise-home.
