  Information on the food and drink given to children is made available to parents. [CCLR Sec. 48(6)]

  Observation. Families are not being notified of snack and lunch foods provided to children on a daily basis. A discussion was had with the Manager to brainstorm different ways this can be done, and the importance of keeping families informed.

  Observation. Licensing observed the following: * Large tub of commercial paint stored underneath the downstairs kitchenette sink, cabinet unlocked. * Alcohol stored inside the refrigerator downstairs, fridge door accessible to children. * Medicinal product stored on lower shelf in the upstairs kitchen. (LO-IT FP relocated the item to the inside of the counter, and Manager agreed to keep it out of children's reach)

  Observation. Manager informed that the backyard and walks are being used as outdoor time, as well as the front yard. Thorough inspection of these spaces are not being conducted before use each day.
