The entire outdoor play area is enclosed and constructed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and ensures that children are free of harm. [CCLR Sec. 16(3)(a)(b)]
Observation. Licensing observed a deep hole along the east side of the fence located in the outdoor play area. The hole poses a risk of injury if a child were to get their foot stuck inside of the hole.

A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].
Observation. *Licensing observed the lower bathroom cupboard was unsecured allowing children access to cleaning products. This was corrected during the inspection. *The diapering mat is beginning to show wear and has several small tears in the covering. This item is no longer easy to clean. *The bifold closet in the kitchen was unsecured. This item was corrected during the inspection. *There is no fridge thermometer. *Licensing observed a warm to the touch kettle within children's reach, on the front element of the stove.

Observation. *The Licensee reports that all of the children have been napping in the downstairs living room and that the master bedroom upstairs is no longer being utilized due to the Licensee feeling uncomfortable with the originally licensed supervision plan.

All indoor and outdoor play materials and equipment accessible to children are suitable for the age and development of the children, safely constructed, free from hazards and in good repair. [CCLR Sec. 16(4)]
Observation. *Licensing observed a wooden climber/slide in the main play area that does not have any resilient padding beneath. *There is not enough clearance around the slide to satisfy a safe fall zone.
