Observation. An electrical cord for the doorbell was within reach of children, posing a potential strangulation hazard. This was corrected during the inspection. Sharp edges of metal siding on the bottom of the posts in the outdoor play area are exposed. A method of ensuring the sharp edges are not accessible to children is required. The gauge on a fire extinguisher beside the kitchen shows that recharging is required. Access to reliable equipment in an emergency is part of a complete emergency plan.
