It is required that daily, monthly and yearly play space inspections, and any maintenance or repairs, be recorded. Inform Licensing by May 9, 2025 of how you have addressed the requirement to record the outdoor play space inspections.

Observation. There is no record indicating that the emergency plan has been practiced within the past year. In order to be prepared for an emergency, it is required that the emergency plan practices are recorded, annually. Inform Licensing by May 9, 2025 that the emergency plan has been practiced and recorded.

Observation. The Licensee stated the fire drill system is practiced monthly, however, there is no evidence of practices occurring. A system for recording fire drill practices needs to be developed by the follow up date listed.

Observation. The facility does not have a covered container for soiled items. A covered container is required to ensure good health and hygiene. Submission of how this has been corrected is required by the follow up date listed.

Observation. Visual inspections of the outdoor play space are conducted, but a system for recording that they have been done is required. Please inform Licensing of your chosen method of recording daily play space inspections.

Observation. Diaper creams, labelled 'keep out of reach of children' were stored in a space that children might be able to access. The creams were moved during the inspection to a location out of the children's reach. No further action is necessary regarding this item.

Observation. The facility has undergone radon remediation and is currently being re-tested (October to January). Please submit new results to Licensing direct upon receipt.

Observation. Mitigation has occurred, however acceptable radon test results have not been received by Licensing. A plan to conduct a 91 day radon test is required for the fall/winter of 2022.

Observation. A supervision plan for the outdoor climbing structure is in place and has been reviewed by Licensing. The ledge of the basement stairs that lead to the outdoor playspace must be made inaccessible to children. Additional supplies are required for the first aid kit.

Observation. The outdoor play structure exceeds 3'. Supervision policies need to include information that indicates children under the age of 3 years will not have access to the structure. Observation. Two electrical outlets were uncovered today The shelf unit downstairs needs to be affixed to the wall. A statement indicating children under the age of three will not be permitted access to the outdoor play structure is required. Email with images of corrections and play structure statement received prior to completion of the inspection report- This item is considered corrected.
