A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

Observation. -Licensing observed children in the infant playground while the ground surface was too hot. Discussed strategies such as using water to cool the ground surface down while the children are playing outside. -The toddler outdoor play space requires some de cluttering as there are three climbing structures, several rubber tires, play houses, play kitchen, ride on toys etc causing the free space in the yard to be tight. -Licensing observed several climbing structures with no resilient surfacing under them in the toddler outdoor play space.
