• MEDICATION

  If a licensee has agreed with a parent to give a child any medication prescribed by a medical practitioner or provided by the parent, the licensee and his or her employees must ensure that the medication is (a) administered to the child in the amount and at the times specified by the child's parent or in the child's record or care plan.

  Observation. No medication administration form completed for children who have epi-pen or other allergy medication.

  Corrective action. Please ensure that medication administration form is completed by parent to direct staff to safely administer medication to children in care.

  Observation. Emergency Supplies are insufficient to implement the emergency plan for 72 hours. System to relocate the stored supplies is not feasible.

  Corrective action. Please revise your emergency plan and procedure to effectively respond and recover from emergency situation.
