A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation. Front entrance and bathroom door handles are loose. Outdoor play space gate does not latch.

EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. - The facility outdoor play space does not have accommodation for shade. At the time of inspection, there was no shade in the outdoor play space and the turf was hot to touch. -The facility's smoke detector was beeping indicating that it required attention. The beeping was loud and constant.
Corrective action. Ensure accommodation for adequate shade is made in the outdoor play space. Ensure the facility's fire safety play is up to date.
