- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation. During today's inspection Licensing observed the following in the outdoor play space: -The children's table and chairs and the playhouse both have paint chipping. The playhouse has boards that are beginning to rot. -Numerous panels in the fence are rotten and loose. There are gaps between boards and some boards are completely unattached to the main horizontal boards. This concern was identified at last years routine inspection and the manager had submitted a plan to replace the fence at that time. This work was not completed as proposed and the fence is now in worse repair.
Corrective action. Ensure that the facility is in good repair at all times. The Manager is required to secure the loose boards immediately and submit a plan for full replacement.
