• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. Upon review of a sampling of child records it was noted that one record did not have a Medical Practitioner listed. Upon review of Minor Incident Log, two incidents were noted that resulted in medical consultation, making them reportable to Licensing. Fire Drill record, Emergency Preparedness Plan Practice record, Outdoor Inspection Log, Attendance Records reviewed during inspection and determined to be complete and current.

• C6.1 - Are acceptable hygiene practices maintained?Non-critical

  Observation. Upon inspection in the upstairs Multi-Age program it was observed that the furnishing have been rearranged, and the diapering station was next to the eating area. To reduce risk of cross-contamination, please re-arrange the furnishings so these two areas are not side-by-side.

  Observation. During review of a sampling of employee records it was noted that one certificate requires evidence of validation.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. During inspection of outdoor play area Licensing Officer observed a piece of plastic play equipment which was cracked, creating a pinching hazard risk. This item was removed during inspection. Discussed process for inspecting equipment for damage.
