    Observation. Upon review of employee records it was noted that two require information regarding the status of COVID-19 immunization, fully, partially or not immunized. Two records were updated while Licensing Officer Turnbull was on site. All other required documentation was present and valid to demonstrate that employees possess training and experience adequate to meet the care and supervision needs of children.

  • C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

    Observation. Upon review of a sampling of child registration information it was noted that one required "other identifying information" such as height, weight, hair/eye colour. All other required information was accounted for in files reviewed. Care plans were reviewed, and noted to be complete. Minor Incident Log, Outdoor Inspection Log, Fire Drill practice and Emergency Preparedness Plan practice all appeared complete and up-to-date.

Upon review of employee records it was noted that some items were not on file including resumes, references immunization status and the Criminal Record Check clearance letter (there was a document that showed the employees had "passed" the CRC, but did not have a date of issuance or expiry).

    Observation. Upon review of a sampling of child records it was noted that a care plan requires further information in order to be complete. The care plan must be developed in consultation with the parents and any other supports they feel relevant, and reviewed and updated at least annually.
