Observation. Licensing Officer found the monkey bar structure in the outdoor play space did not have protective surfacing underneath it. Protective surfacing assists in reducing injuries to children from falls. Licensing Officer found a rope swing hanging from a tree branch which did not have six feet clearance around it. Children can swing and hit the tree causing injury without 6 feet clearance around swing. Submit by May 1, 2025, how you have addressed the requirement for protective surfacing and six feet clearance around outdoor play equipment.
