    Observation. LO requested to review Polices and Procedures that are shared with parents, the Licensee provided a daily schedule, and the registration forms. But no guidance policy was shared. LO will share an outline of all required policies that must be kept, and information regarding the behaviour policy which must be shared with parents / employees.

    Hazardous objects and substances are inaccessible to children. [CCLR Sec 17]

    Observation. LO observed that there are cleaning supplies and hazardous items under the sink in the kitchen, which children have access to. It was also observed that the outside area has items along the fence that are not intended for use by children - such as wood board, part of broken chair, and other pieces that could be hazardous. All items that are not for children's use or could be a hazard should be removed from the space. LO also recommends that some of the branches to the tree be cut so that there remains shade, but it allows for additional space.
