  • PHYSICAL, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHING / EnvironmentNon-critical

The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

Observation. Today - LO observed that some areas may have been addressed, but due to the age of some equipment and amount of furniture staff will still be required to do some decluttering and cleaning of the space. Feb. 18, 2026 - There are areas of the facility that require addressing due to age / wear and tear - Wooden play car in the playroom is wearing and unable to be cleaned, there are fabric belts on the chairs in the bathroom (could also appear that children are being restrained while in the bathroom), cupboard in the outside area is peeling, etc. It was also observed that the space has a lot of items stored through out, the addition of these items / storage shelves / etc.. are taking away from the usable floor space. There are areas that appear tight and hard to clean.
