  Observation. Licensing observed the licensee was unable to provide a copy of the policies and procedures or parent handbook at the time of inspection.

  Observation. Licensing observed the following: -Two children require their immunization records - One child requires their Medical Insurance number

  Maintenance of Equipment: A log is kept of all inspections, maintenance and repairs. [Director of Licensing Standard of Practice - Safe Play Space]

  Observation. Licensing observed that the Licensee has not kept a log of inspections, maintenance and repairs. It was also observed the yard needed to be inspected on a daily basis prior to children accessing the space as the space is shared with their family pets.

• STAFFING / Additional criminal record checksNon-critical

  All persons over the age of 12 that are ordinarily present on the premises while children are present are of good character and the licensee has obtained a criminal record check for each person. [CCLR Sec 20]

  Observation. Licensee stated that a parent to one of the children enrolled in the program is at the facility regularly while the children are attending.

  There is an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(b)]

  Observation. Licensing observed the fire extinguishers needed to be serviced. Licensee has initiated an emergency plan, which is stored outside. Licensee to send picture of what is currently stored to mitigate and respond to an emergency.
